Hi, Shaqueen.

I know what it feels like to lie awake at night replaying conversations, worrying you didn’t handle things the right way, or wondering if you’re doing enough for your family, work, or yourself. Maybe you hope for more confidence, healthier relationships, or the ability to speak your truth — but you’re afraid to admit it. Or maybe you’ve tried self-help books, advice from friends, or therapy before, and it didn’t feel like it was enough.

I create a space where you can be honest about these thoughts and feelings, without judgment. Together, we’ll work on managing anxiety, easing self-criticism, improving communication, and setting boundaries — all at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to help you feel steadier, more confident, and kinder to yourself, even when life feels overwhelming.

My Approach

I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and tailored to you. I work collaboratively with you, meeting you where you are, whether you’re new to therapy or have tried it before. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing — like stress, anxiety, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck — and find practical, personalized ways to navigate them.

I blend mindfulness, reflective conversation, and coping strategies to help you:

From Shaqueen's Clients

“Ms. Walcott is professional, respectful and empathetic. She has been very helpful in helping me to navigate some very difficult areas in my life and I’ve never felt rushed or judged. Therapy has helped me to develop better coping skills and I have grown mentally as well as emotionally because of our work together. I am truly grateful to have found a therapist in which I have been able to connect with because it is not easy to do so. I would highly recommend her services.” – I.B.

You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step — especially if you’re used to being the one everyone else relies on. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or simply ready for more support, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

You don’t need to have the right words or all the answers. We can begin exactly where you are.
